Background of Organization Buusaa Gonofaa Micro finance (BG MFI) is a non-bank profit making financial institution licensed under Proclamation No 40/1996 and is supervised by the National Bank of Ethiopia. Currently BG want to fill the Customer Service Officer I vacant position with a suitable candidate.  III. JOB SUMMARY The Customer Service Officer I at Buusaa Gonofaa Microfinance S.C. (BG) is responsible for delivering frontline customer service to clients by providing accurate information, processing basic service requests, and ensuring a positive client experience, in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. The position serves as an entry-level customer service role at Grade V, supporting branch operations by handling client reception, account inquiries, documentation assistance, and service coordination, while upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and service quality standards. IV. Job Responsibility  Receive and assist customers with routine inquiries related to accounts, savings, loans, and branch services. Support customer onboarding by guiding clients through required forms and documentation. Provide accurate information on BG products, services, procedures, and service charges. Register, track, and follow up on customer service requests and simple complaints. Ensure proper filing and maintenance of customer service records and documents. Direct customers to appropriate officers or service points for specialized support. Promote courteous, respectful, and client-focused service at all times. Assist in maintaining orderly service areas and queue management within the branch. Adhere strictly to internal policies, customer protection standards, and confidentiality requirements. Perform other customer service–related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
