JOB Summary: The Senior Thread Machine Operator is responsible for leading threading machine operations, ensuring high-quality production of threaded components, and supervising junior operators. The role focuses on process optimization, machine efficiency, and maintaining strict adherence to engineering specifications. Key responsibilities: · Operate, monitor, and optimize CNC or manual threading machines for precision component production. · Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. · Inspect workpieces, compare numerical displays to process sheets, and ensure high accuracy. · Lead troubleshooting and corrective actions for machine and process issues. · Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure optimal machine performance. · Supervise and mentor junior threading machine operators. · Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve processes and reduce errors. · Record detailed production, quality, and machine performance metrics. · Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards. · Recommend improvements to processes, workflows, and machinery for increased efficiency.
