Key Responsibilities: Mine Dewatering and Water Management: Develop, implement, and optimize dewatering strategies and mine water management plans to ensure safe and efficient operation. Technical Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain numerical and conceptual groundwater models (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW) to predict water inflows, assess slope depressurization needs, and evaluate environmental impacts. Field Investigation and Data Collection: Design and manage drilling programs, piezometer installations, and aquifer testing (pump, packer, slug tests). Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor groundwater levels and water quality, interpret seepage data, and ensure adherence to environmental regulations and permits.
