General Manager – Restaurant, Lounge, Nightclub & Events Venue

Job Description  our company is seeking an experienced, commercially driven, and hands-on General Manager to lead and oversee full operational and financial performance of the venue. This senior leadership role requires strong expertise in hospitality management, nightlife operations, event coordination, financial management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will manage complex operations while ensuring exceptional guest experience, strict compliance, and strong profitability. This is a visible, hands-on role requiring active presence during peak services, major events, and nightclub operations  Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee restaurant, lounge, nightclub, and private events operations Ensure high standards of service, food quality, and ambience Manage guest escalations professionally Coordinate kitchen, bar, events, and front-of-house teams Ensure smooth operations during high-volume periods Events & Functions Management Oversee weddings, birthdays, corporate and private events Manage event planning, staffing, and profitability Coordinate suppliers, decorators, DJs, and vendors Ensure full compliance with licensing and regulations Nightclub & Lounge Operations Manage security coordination and crowd control Oversee entertainment scheduling and DJ bookings Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance Financial & Commercial Management Full P&L accountability Prepare budgets and forecasts Monitor revenue performance Control labor and F&B costs Manage cash handling and reconciliation Conduct stock takes and supplier negotiations Prepare financial reports (P&L, Cash Flow, Variance Reports) Leadership & HR Recruit, train, and develop department managers and teams Manage performance reviews and discipline Ensure labor cost efficiency Promote professional workplace culture Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, licensing, and fire safety regulations Conduct risk assessments Liaise with local authorities Business Development Identify new revenue opportunities Develop event packages and corporate partnerships Improve operational efficiency
