Job Summary The Occupational Health Officer will develop, implement, and evaluate health risk management policies and programs, prevent and remove health risks arising in the workplace, train employees in occupational health procedures, provide basic healthcare needs to employees, and monitor and record medical cases.  Duties and Responsibilities Administer first aid treatments and provide basic healthcare needs to employees; assist injured staff to hospitals when needed. Provide consultancy on potential occupational illnesses and injuries, including monitoring and reporting. Track and analyze accident/injury and sickness data to identify trends and recommend preventative strategies. Coordinate first aid training, supplies, and record maintenance. Recommend improvements to accident/incident reporting procedures and ensure timely investigations with corrective actions. Advise managers on sickness, absence, and rehabilitation issues; collaborate with HR for case management. Monitor and record patient medical conditions. Maintain clinic records and ensure compliance with document retention policies. Interpret diagnostic tests and verify medical certificates. Ensure sick employees submit "fit to work" certificates. Plan and implement medical examinations and executive check-ups. Manage medical supplies and equipment, including inventory and purchase requests. Organize company-wide health awareness meetings and training sessions. Prepare proposals for new healthcare initiatives to reduce costs. Develop occupational health procedures and evaluate them against business objectives. Conduct health promotion and awareness training for employees. Perform other duties as assigned.
