Description
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to business leaders by aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. The role contributes to business performance through effective talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, and change management. Working within a modern HR service delivery model (HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and Shared Services), the HRBP provides strategic HR advisory services, ensures effective implementation of HR policies and programs, and uses HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Key Duties and Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with departmental and organizational objectives Provide advisory support on workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational design Support implementation of business strategies through effective people management practices Guide change management and organizational transformation initiatives Support talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning processes Identify capability gaps and recommend employee development initiatives Facilitate performance management and leadership coaching Promote a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values Enhance organizational effectiveness through structure design, role clarity, and team development Lead employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives Advise managers on employee relations issues and conflict resolution Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Development) Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives Coordinate with HR Shared Services on payroll, HR administration, employee records, and compliance Ensure efficient and consistent HR service delivery Utilize HR analytics and workforce data to support decision-making Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and performance trends Provide insights and recommendations to improve organizational performance Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and organizational policies Support leadership in maintaining a fair, ethical, and compliant workplace
