Plant Protection Expert

Job Purpose:- To supervise and maintain all farmland are free from pesticide, herbicides etc.. Main Duties and Responsibilities Designs and conducts periodic reviews and appraisals of the situation of plant pest and pesticide problems in the farm,  Advice the farm manager on necessary actions to implement pest and pesticide management techniques, Prepare pest assessment schedule (Variety, Plot),  Prepare pest assessment reports in type of pests, stage of the pest and/or the attack level and submits the report daily for decision,  Collect samples of unknown pests and weeds and submits for his nearest boss for identification, Assess the post spraying the pest control chemical efficacy, Keep records of sprayed plots and varieties regularly,  Inspect the chemical spraying activity on the field and check the technic and condition of spraying, recommend corrective action,  Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
