Bees for Development Ethiopia (BfDE) is a national, non-governmental organization that operates across various areas and districts of Ethiopia. The organization works to improve community livelihoods through training and technical support in beekeeping and natural resource management. In addition to improving the living standards of rural communities, BfDE aims to bring about positive transformation in knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The organization, located in Bahir Dar City, Kebele 13, Mulubelu Building, 2nd Floor, Office No. 14, under Background Bees for Development Ethiopia (BfDE) a local NGO based in Bahir Dar is seeking a qualified service provider to support the installation, training, and transition to QuickBooks for its finance team. The assignment will cover training for five accountants and one year of transition support to ensure effective use of the system. Therefore, we hereby inform that only bidders who meet the following criteria are eligible to bid. Local bid documents can be obtained from BfDE Main Office Bahir Dar City Kebele 13, Floor 2 Room No. 14. Within 5 Consecutive Working Days since the date of this announcement.  Binder Must Provide a current and valid business license have paid taxes and be able to provide proof of tax payment, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN and Value Added Tax (VAT) Certificate. The Winner is expected to sign the contract agreement and Code of conduct for suppliers within Two days since the receipt of notification. Bidders must submit photocopies of the documents mentioned in No. 2 above along with their bidding documents to participate in the bid. Bidders can obtain the bidding documents at the main office, second floor, office number 14, located in the Mulu Belew Building, Bahir Dar Kebele 13, by paying a non-refundable fee of Birr 400.00 /Four hundred birr only/. Bidders must provide a bid bond of 2% of the total value of the work for which they are bidding, in the form of a certified payment order (CPO) or a non-conditional bank guarantee. Bidders shall not be entitled to any deductions or omissions in the tender document submitted on a single price. They shall submit the financial document prepared by the organization in a sealed envelope, duly filled in and signed. The deliver place is BfDE Main office. Bidders are requested to submit the bid documents, photocopied, in a separate sealed envelope, clearly marked on the envelope within 5 consecutive working days from the date of publication of the announcement, by filling in the information correctly and in accordance with the above-mentioned points. The bids can be submitted in the bid box provided for this purpose at Office No. 14, Second Floor, and Bahir Dar Mulu Belew Building. The bids will be sealed on the 7th consecutive days at 5:30 PM and opened on the 8th of Consecutive days at 9:30 AM in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives. If the bid opening date is not a working day, it will be opened on the next working day at the same time. The organization reserves the right to cancel the bid in whole or in part at any time if a better alternative is found. Option 2: License Not Provided · Deliver QuickBooks training for five accountants. · Provide one-year transition and technical support. · No license provision (BfDE will arrange separately). Deliverables · Training materials and sessions tailored to nonprofit financial management. · Documentation of installation and configuration (Option 1). · Ongoing advisory and troubleshooting support for one year. · Quarterly progress updates on transition support. Required Qualifications   · Proven expertise in QuickBooks installation, training, and support. · Experience working with nonprofit organizations or similar entities. · Strong communication and capacity-building skills. · Availability for one-year follow-up support
