Fitness Center Manager
Description
To ensure guest/member satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the Club’s first priority. Maintain equipment for Fitness Centre operations including pool equipment, exercise, massage and personal equipment in safe working order. Assist in the supervision and operation of all Fitness Centre departments as required: To ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness). To ensure guest/member satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the Club's first priority. Establishment of business relationship with all vendors and development of all product inventories. Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all Club employees and support staff. Oversee effective scheduling of all services and special programming. Development and adherence of Standard Operating Procedures Manual. To ensure weekly/monthly departmental communication meetings are effective. To ensure that the workplace is kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house. To liaise and organize with Housekeeping Department that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to. To coordinate all Repair and Maintenance and issues repair and maintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance of the outlet. To take charge of membership acquisition and renewal procedures in close cooperation with the Sales & Marketing Department. To implement a consistent guest recognition program and maintain relevant guest database. To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety. To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
