JOB Summary: The Material Planning & Inventory Control Officer is responsible for supporting material planning, stock management, and inventory control activities within the organization. The role focuses on learning and assisting with proper material tracking, record-keeping, and ensuring availability of materials for smooth production or operational processes. Key responsibilities: · Assist in planning and monitoring inventory levels to ensure materials are available as needed. · Support material requisition, procurement tracking, and stock issuance processes. · Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements, and material usage. · Participate in stock-taking, cycle counts, and reconciliation of inventory records. · Collaborate with other departments to forecast material requirements and avoid shortages. · Learn and follow organizational procedures, policies, and compliance standards. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage environment. · Participate in on-the-job training and professional development activities.
