ABOUT OVID GROUP OVID Group is one of Ethiopia's premier construction and development conglomerates, driving large-scale infrastructure, real estate, and national development projects. As part of our 2026 strategic transformation, we have established a new, centralized Project and Performance Council (PPC) to enhance governance, performance monitoring, and execution excellence across our six key subsidiaries: OVID Construction, OVID Real Estate, Kavod Commercial, OVID Road, OVID Aluminum Formwork, and OVID Respan Design. The Council operates with 65 professionals across Leadership, Construction Operations Directorate, and Engineering Services Directorate, including a state-of-the-art Project Control Situation Room. We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join this new council and help us deliver projects that shape the nation. ABOUT THE JOB: We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Performance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be the engine room of our performance monitoring efforts, gathering, analyzing, and visualizing project data to create the dashboards and reports that drive executive decision-making. Your work will directly support the Council's mission to maintain a real-time, accurate view of project health across the entire OVID group. Job Summary Location: Addis Ababa Deadline: March 19th, 2026 Career Level: Mid-Level Employment Type: Full-time Number of People Required: 2 Reports to: Project Performance Monitoring Manager Duties and Responsibilities 1. Data Collection & Validation: Collect, validate, and consolidate project performance data from various sources and subsidiaries. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness through regular quality checks. Maintain project performance databases and ensure they are up-to-date. Follow up with project teams to resolve data discrepancies or missing information. 2. Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze project data to identify trends, outliers, and areas of concern or opportunity. Perform quantitative analysis to support performance reviews and deep-dive studies. Identify correlations between different performance indicators (e.g., schedule vs. cost). Support root cause analysis for project variances by providing relevant data. 3. Dashboard & Report Preparation: Prepare and maintain regular and ad-hoc performance dashboards and analytical reports. Create visualizations that effectively communicate performance insights to diverse audiences. Contribute to monthly and quarterly performance reporting packages. Support the development of standardized reporting templates. 4. Process Improvement Support: Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection and reporting processes. Suggest enhancements to databases, tools, and reporting formats. Document data definitions, sources, and reporting procedures. Support the rollout of new project control tools and systems. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with planning engineers, cost engineers, and other analysts to ensure integrated analysis. Liaise with project teams to understand data context and validate findings. Support the Situation Room team with data requests and analysis as needed.
