Transport Operation Sr. Officer

Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead and optimize our cross-border transportation operations between Ethiopia and Djibouti. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient fleet management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in logistics performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, improving service delivery, and supporting the company’s logistics strategy. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise daily transport operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Monitor, analyze, and improve key logistics performance indicators including fleet utilization, on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, and vehicle maintenance compliance. Manage all legal and insurance matters related to vehicle accidents, including coordination with authorities and insurance providers. Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian and Djiboutian transport regulations, customs requirements, and port procedures. Lead, mentor, and motivate the transport operations team to achieve operational targets and maintain high performance standards. Prepare detailed operational and performance reports and present insights and recommendations to senior management. Salary: Negotiable
