L.E.C. Engineering PLC is seeking a Senior Accounting and Finance professional to join our team in Addis Ababa. This full-time role requires a strong foundation in financial analysis and accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to strategic financial planning in an office environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations. Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and prepare necessary documentation. Implement and maintain financial systems and ERP software to enhance reporting accuracy. Evaluate financial performance through analysis of key metrics and trends. Develop financial policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and financial planning. Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively. Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management and stakeholders.
