Senior Accountant

Essential Functions: Under supervision of Finance manager ensures financial data integrity by managing month-end closes, reconciling complex accounts, and preparing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements). Key duties include analyzing variances, ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting with audits, mentoring junior staff, and optimizing accounting processes to support management decision-making   Job Summary and Key Responsibility Financial Reporting & Analysis:  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. General Ledger & Reconciliation:  Manage the general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and resolve financial discrepancies. Compliance & Audit:  Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, tax laws, and company policies, while coordinating internal and external audits. Budgeting & Forecasting:  Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and conducting variance analysis. Supervision:  Train, mentor, and review the work of junior accounting staff. Cash Flow Management:  Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.  Reports to:   Finance Manager/General Accounts Head Location: Addis Ababa, Head office Piazza Required No of Employee ;- 1
