ABOUT OVID GROUP OVID Group is one of Ethiopia's premier construction and development conglomerates, driving large-scale infrastructure, real estate, and national development projects. As part of our 2026 strategic transformation, we have established a new, centralized Project and Performance Council (PPC) to enhance governance, performance monitoring, and execution excellence across our six key subsidiaries: OVID Construction, OVID Real Estate, Kavod Commercial, OVID Road, OVID Aluminum Formwork, and OVID Respan Design. The Council operates with 65 professionals across Leadership, Construction Operations Directorate, and Engineering Services Directorate, including a state-of-the-art Project Control Situation Room. We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join this new council and help us deliver projects that shape the nation. ABOUT THE JOB: As the Senior Project Data Analyst in the Situation Room, you will be the lead analyst responsible for digging deep into our project data to uncover trends, validate insights, and prepare high-impact analytical reports. Working closely with the Situation Room Manager, you will go beyond standard dashboards to perform complex analyses that answer critical strategic questions and guide executive decision-making. Your work will turn data into a powerful strategic asset. Job Summary Location: Addis Ababa Deadline: March 19th, 2026 Career Level: Senior Employment Type: Full-time Number of People Required: 1 Reports to: Situation Room Manager Duties and Responsibilities 1. Advanced Analytics: Lead in-depth analysis of project performance data to identify root causes of variances, emerging trends, and predictive indicators. Develop and maintain complex analytical models to support scenario planning, risk assessment, and performance forecasting. Perform statistical analysis to validate hypotheses and quantify relationships between variables. Conduct deep-dive studies on specific strategic questions as directed by the Situation Room Manager or Deputy CEO. 2. Insight Generation & Reporting: Prepare and present high-level analytical reports and presentations for the Deputy CEO and Group CEO, translating complex findings into clear, strategic narratives. Proactively identify insights and patterns in the data that Situationrant management attention. Develop recommendations based on analytical findings and present them to leadership. Support the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports. 3. Dashboard & Tool Development: Collaborate with the Dashboard Engineer to translate complex analyses into clear, visual dashboard elements. Define requirements for new dashboard features based on analytical needs. Test and validate new dashboards and reports to ensure accuracy and usability. Contribute to the development of the Situation Room's analytical toolkit. 4. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and support other data analysts within the Council, sharing best practices and analytical techniques. Conduct training sessions on advanced analytics for team members. Document analytical methodologies and maintain a knowledge base. 5. Continuous Improvement: Continuously explore new data sources and analytical techniques to enhance the Situation Room's capabilities. Stay current with developments in data analytics, business intelligence, and predictive modeling. Recommend new tools, technologies, or approaches to improve analytical efficiency and impact.
