Mechanic (Confectionary Production)

Employment Type:     Full-Time Job Title: Mechanic  – Confectionery Production Ref. No.: 004/OFF-HR/26 Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Mechanic to maintain and service machinery used in chewing gum and lollipop production. The role involves both mechanical and basic electrical work to ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and repair production machinery, including mixers, cookers, extruders, forming machines, and packaging equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend machine life. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues promptly. Perform basic electrical tasks, including servicing motors, wiring, sensors, and control panels. Monitor equipment performance and report faults or abnormalities. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning work environment. Organize and manage maintenance tools and spare parts inventory. Adhere to all safety, quality, and food hygiene standards.
