As a fresh player in the market, we’re building a team of passionate professionals who want to grow with us and shape the future of salt production.    Job Summary     The Purchaser will be responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure timely sourcing of materials, equipment, and services required for plant operations while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.    Key Responsibilities      Stay informed on industry trends and find competitive suppliers.  Create effective strategies aligned with goals.  Build strong relationships and negotiate contracts.  Place orders, manage procurement, and ensure timely delivery.  Ensure purchased products meet quality standards.  Monitor expenses and reduce costs without compromising quality.  Enhance procurement processes and inventory flow.  Ensure legal compliance and ethical practices in sourcing.  Establish and negotiate the price and contract terms and conditions, prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists.  Maintain and build relationship with the existing and new suppliers to improve levels of service and establish new sources of supply.  Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, standards and reporting requirements, plus any relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.  Good understanding of the market trend and research potential vendors to procure the right products of right quality at right price.  Identify and recommend improvements to existing procedure and processes, suggest changes for improving controls and reducing cost.  Review and analyses all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options at regular intervals.
