Internal/External: VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: PROJECT COORDINATOR Reporting to: Managing Director About Berhan Lehetsanat (BL) With over 29 years of experience, Berhan Lehetsanat (BL) is a leading Ethiopian NGO dedicated to the rights and well-being of children with disabilities and marginalized groups. We operate across Addis Ababa, Oromia, Amhara, Sidama, Southern Ethiopia and Afar, focusing on Comprehensive Community-Based Rehabilitation (CCBR), inclusive education, child protection, and humanitarian response in conflict-affected areas. The Role: Project Coordinator We are looking for a dynamic and mission-driven Project Coordinator to oversee the seamless implementation of our diverse portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring that our projects in Addis Ababa, Oromia, Amhara, Sidama, and Afar are executed with technical excellence, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Plan, implement, and monitor project activities across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with BL’s strategic goals and donor requirements. Disability-Inclusive Programming: Ensure that all interventions—from CBR to humanitarian aid—are fully accessible and tailored to the specific needs of children and youth with disabilities and their families. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong partnerships with regional government bureaus (Health, Education, Women & Children Affairs), local communities, and international partners. Team Management: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field-based project staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Budget Oversight: Work closely with the Finance stream to ensure transparent resource utilization and strictly adhere to procurement and financial guidelines. Reporting: Prepare high-quality, analytical progress reports that highlight achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
