1. GENERAL Job Title: Senior Human Resources Officer Reports to: Manager, HR & Administration Department Department/Service: Human Resource & Administration 2. BASIC FUNCTIONS: Under the general supervision of Manager of HR and Administration Department, assists in preparation of plans, policies and procedures for human resource management functions; performs administrative duties in the areas of recruitment, selection, placement, HRD, wages, benefits, files and records management and employee welfare services; participates in the development of systems to broaden and enhance the overall company human resource development policies; ensures all personnel actions are undertaken as per approved human resource management policies and procedures of the Company. 3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in the department manager in preparation of plans, policies and procedures related to human resource management functions; Performs activities related to personnel management such as, recruitment, staff training, pay administration, employee relations and welfare services; Participates in preparing human resource plans and budget and periodic reports; Assists in sorting applications according to announced criteria and the Company’s personnel recruitment procedures; Assists in organizing, arranging and conducting competence ratings, written examinations, interview sessions and reference checks; Follows-up that efficient staffing and training are carried out on the basis of requests from other work units; Ensures the consistent application of approved HR policies and procedures on recruitment, promotion, demotion, evaluation, transfers, resignation, disciplinary actions wage and salary,and employee benefits; Participates in training need assessment for human resources development programs; Ensures the proper administration and control of personnel records and files; Administers employee benefit programs such as pension, insurance and others; Participates in various HR studies; compiles and prepares statistics related to human resource management; Performs other related duties as required.
