• Oil & GasJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong expertise in financial accounting and controlling processes, preferably within the Oil & Gas (Upstream) sector. The role focuses on delivering robust finance solutions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting seamless integration with SAP IS-Oil and JVA modules.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and support SAP FI/CO modules, including:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset Accounting (AA)Cost Controlling (CO)Manage financial close processes, including month-end and year-end closing activitiesEnsure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS)Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit requirementsIntegrate FI/CO with SAP IS-Oil and Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) for upstream operationsDesign and optimize cost controlling structures, profitability analysis, and internal reportingCollaborate with business stakeholders to align SAP finance solutions with operational needsIdentify and resolve system issues and improve finance processesRequired Skills & ExpertiseStrong hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO configuration and supportDeep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO)Experience in financial close, reconciliation, and reporting processesExposure to Oil & Gas industry (preferred)Integration experience with IS-Oil and JVA modulesUnderstanding of IFRS and financial compliance frameworksKey CompetenciesStrong analytical and financial acumenAttention to detail and accuracyProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStakeholder communication and collaborationExperience Required:8–10 years of relevant experienceLocation:Muscat, OmanContract Duration:6 Months contract (with possibility of extension)
