Solution Architect - Supply chain

emagine is looking for a Solution Architect to support the design and implementation of technology solutions within the supply chain domain, covering both products and services. The assignment involves translating business needs from strategic projects into scalable, secure, and value-driven architectures that align with enterprise standards and support operational excellence.Scope of WorkArchitectural Design: Analyze business needs to develop blueprints across supply chain planning and logistics. Primary focus areas include:Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and related integrations.Service/solutions business capabilities.Technology Evaluation: Recommend technologies aligned with enterprise architecture principles and specific supply chain requirements.Systems Integration: Ensure robust integration across the landscape, including ERP, MES, APS, WMS, TMS, and partner/carrier systems.Leadership & Documentation: * Provide technical guidance to development teams and business stakeholders.Document solution architectures, integration patterns, and strategic roadmaps.Quality Assurance: Support risk management and QA throughout the solution lifecycle.Required CompetenciesDomain Expertise: Proven experience in solution architecture for supply chain planning and logistics (APS, WMS, TMS, production scheduling, and global distribution).Business Processes: Experience in solution architecture specifically for service-oriented business models.Technical Proficiency: * Deep understanding of cloud platforms and integration frameworks (API, EDI, event-driven).Proficiency in enterprise architecture modeling (e.g., ArchiMate).Soft Skills: Strong analytical and visualization skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Logistics, Manufacturing, IT).InfoStart: AsapLanguage: EnglishLocation: RemoteExpected DeliverablesDesign Documents: High-level and detailed solution architecture designs.Specifications: Detailed integration specifications.Strategic Output: Technology evaluations, recommendations, and architecture roadmaps.Implementation Support: (Optional) Oversight during implementation, testing, and final handover.
