2D Character Animators

You’ll bring our characters to life through clear posing, strong character acting and readable visual narratives.You’ll work on engaging, on-brand animation for marketing campaigns across our channels and ad platforms. You’ll also collaborate with internal creatives to ensure our animation maintains a consistent style and quality.Software knowledgeAdobe Creative Suite: Advanced proficiency in After Effects (primary tool) and IllustratorFamiliarity with Premiere Pro is a plusUnderstanding of platform specs and requirements for different digital channels (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc)What you’ll be doingIdeation and Creative DevelopmentTake part in briefings and ideations, contributing concept and asset ideas, and turning selected ideas into final assets and animation.Character Animation and ActingCreate expressive 2D character animation with strong acting, clear posing and emotionally readable performances.Storytelling for MarketingAnimate storytelling-led marketing content such as trailers, short promotional videos, showreels and other campaign formats.Cross-Channel DeliveryAdapt animations across formats and placements while keeping consistency in quality, timing and storytelling.Collaboration Work closely with other animators, artists and marketing creatives to develop and refine existing and new storytelling formats.Brand AlignmentEnsure everything you create follows our visual guidelines and graphical style.Candidate requirementsProven experience as a 2D character animatorStrong character acting skills and ability to communicate emotion through animationSolid craft in timing, posing and performance clarityComfortable working in an iterative feedback processAdvanced After Effects skills (Illustrator required) What we will be looking for in your portfolioCharacter-driven work in any animation output, with special focus given to 2D cutout.Clear acting choices and readable emotionStrong posing and silhouette clarityConfident After Effects execution
