Release & Documentation Manager (m/w/d)

Introduction & Summary:We are seeking a Release & Documentation Manager with extensive experience in managing release processes within the Finanz Informatik environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in compliance documentation, particularly related to SOC2 and ISO 27001. You will play a critical role in orchestrating precise documentation and ensuring that all releases are executed smoothly. Strong proficiency in German is mandatory.Main Responsibilities:- Oversee the creation and maintenance of release management documentation across various workstreams.- Liaise with Finanz Informatik to coordinate release windows and requirements.- Document change management processes, including RFCs and change records.- Ensure that documentation complies with SOC2 and ISO 27001 standards.- Develop and maintain runbooks, deployment guides, and rollback procedures.- Collaborate with the delivery team on quality assurance initiatives.- Integrate AI tools into documentation processes where applicable.Key Requirements:- 3+ years of experience in release management or technical documentation.- Proven expertise in financial IT release processes.- Knowledge of ITIL, change management, and configuration management.- Familiarity with SOC2 and ISO 27001 documentation requirements.- Affinity for AI and readiness to utilize AI tools in documentation processes.- Fluent in German (C1+) - mandatory.Nice to Have:- Previous experience in a hands-on delivery environment.- Understanding of the banking sector and its IT landscape.Other Details:- Start date: ASAP- Location: Primarily remote with occasional meetings in Frankfurt, Hannover, or Münster- Contract type: Freelance/Contracting- Duration: until at least December 31, 2026.
