Senior Backend Engineer – Payments, Java, AWS, Real-time APIs

(Consultant must be based in Stockholm)Overview:Join a dynamic team in Stockholm to contribute to a cutting-edge, large-scale project focused on backend engineering in the payment domain. You’ll work on the development and optimization of real-time APIs, architectural design, and deploying solutions in a cloud-native environment. An immediate start is important to meet project goals.Your Day-to-Day:1. Design, develop, and implement backend services in modern Java with a focus on creating high performance, high-scalability APIs.2. Modify existing APIs to optimize efficiency and meet evolving business requirements.3. Collaborate with a global team of employees and consultants within agile workstreams to deliver project milestones.4. Deploy and manage applications using AWS with services like ECS, S3, and Lambda, leveraging cloud-native architecture principles.5. Integrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices into workflows, preferably with tools like Terraform.6.
