SummaryThe primary objective of the Project Manager role is to oversee the full cycle of core banking and payment projects within a banking environment, ensuring timely and quality delivery while managing a diverse set of stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Core duties may include:Deliver core banking replacement & payments projects (full cycle).Manage planning, development, system delivery, and offloading of legacy applications.Drive technical delivery across IT stakeholders, ensuring system readiness and integration.Follow established PMO processes and governance.Challenge stakeholders/vendors to maintain timelines, quality, and budget control.Report progress and issues to the Program Manager with clarity and professionalism.Key Requirements:10+ years in IT project management.PMP certification (mandatory).Experience in the banking industry (essential).Domain knowledge in Payments & Core Banking projects.Strong background in Waterfall project delivery.Proven experience managing technical deliverables across diverse banking systems.Excellent presentation skills.Ability to start immediately.Nice to Have:Understanding of Agile methodology.Broad technology exposure across applications, infrastructure, and integration layers.Strong and resilient personality (“tough”), able to challenge stakeholders and vendors effectively.Experience in aligning leadership, vendors, and IT teams with realistic deliverables.Other Details:Industry: Banking.
