Primary Responsibilities of Estate Services | Relationship Manager • Serve as dedicated liaison for beneficiaries, executors, family members, and centers of influence throughout the trust and estate settlement process. • Communicate complex estate and trust concepts in clear, accessible language to clients with varying levels of financial sophistication. • Oversee the administration of assigned settlement portfolios from initial intake through final distribution. • Coordinate with both internal and external teams including legal, tax, operations, administration, and investment management to ensure comprehensive service delivery. • Manage settlement timelines, ensuring all fiduciary duties, court deadlines, and regulatory requirements are met. • Review estate accountings, inventory reports, and distribution recommendations. • Ensure adherence to trust documents, applicable state laws, and company policies throughout the settlement process. • Support audit processes and respond to regulatory inquiries as needed. Qualifications At least eight years of trust administration experience, along with deep industry knowledge of personal trust, estate, guardianship, and advisory services gained through relevant work experience. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a master's degree, and certification as a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) is ideal. Strong leadership, teamwork, writing, presentation, and organizational skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Wealthbox.
