Role: Product Specialist for Telecom OSS Data Mediation (EXFO Context, Pronto)

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the functional roadmap for the Data Mediation platform based on business needs (impact analysis, SLA reporting, change planning)
• Ensure semantic consistency across resource, service, and customer entities; manage versioning and lineage.
• Design and validate SPARQL queries for dependency mapping (NE → Service → Customer) and service impact assessments.
• Coordinate integrations with upstream OSS/BSS systems (Inventories, CRMs) and downstream consumers (Assurance, Change Management, BI).
• Ensure APIs and query endpoints meet performance and security standards.
• Act as the primary liaison for Network Planning, Service Assurance, Customer Care, and Data Governance teams.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

Must have:

• Strong understanding of Telecom OSS domain: resource/service inventory, topology, dependency mapping, SLA concepts.
• Hands-on experience with EXFO Nova Context / Pronto for data mediation and impact analysis.
• Proficiency in SPARQL and RDF-based semantic modeling; familiarity with ontologies (RDFS/OWL).
• Knowledge of TM Forum SID and canonical modeling principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and compliance frameworks.

Good to have:

• Experience with graph databases (Blazegraph, Neptune, Fuseki).
• Exposure to DevOps practices for CI/CD and automation.
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs and integration patterns.
• Understanding of ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem management.
