Who are we?
Upperformance Oy is building Coragrid for institutional investors—an AI-based company screening tool. Our mission is to put an end to manual data collection in the financial sector.
Coragrid’s AI agents navigate the web, analyze millions of data points, and produce structured data with over 95% accuracy to support investment research. We help our clients find the winners faster and more efficiently.
What will you get to do?
We are looking for a motivated Fintech AI Developer Trainee to join our team, someone who wants to jump into the deep end of modern web technology and Artificial Intelligence. Your work will directly influence how our clients—investment professionals and analysts—make decisions.
Depending on your skills, your tasks may include:
- AI & Data Engineering: Developing and optimizing AI agents for high-precision web scraping and data mining.
- Data Structuring: Transforming raw data into analysis-ready, structured assets.
- Full Stack Development: Contributing to Backend or Frontend development as part of our product team.
- Innovation: Testing and implementing new features.
Tech Stack
You will work with a modern, high-performance stack:
- Core: Python (FastAPI) & TypeScript (React + Vite).
- Web: TanStack suite, shadcn/ui and TailwindCSS.
- Data & Infra: PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS
What do we hope from you?
We don’t expect you to be a fully-fledged senior coder, but we do expect a burning desire to learn new things and solve difficult problems.
- Educational Background: Your studies in Computer Science, Business (Economics/Finance/Accounting), Industrial Engineering, or a related field are nearing completion.
- Technical Foundation: You have understanding or experience with some of the technologies mentioned above.
- Passion: You have a genuine interest in Financial Technology and Large Language Models + ML algorithms.
- Mindset: You have the ability to work independently in a startup environment where things move fast, Precision at speed.
- Language Skills: The working languages at the company are English & Finnish.
