About the company Adaptiq is an international tech company headquartered in Israel, with distributed engineering teams across Europe. We build and scale R&D teams for product companies, working on complex, high-impact systems in domains like healthcare, fintech, and data platforms.
About the project We’re building a cloud-based AI platform for clinical research used by large pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The platform automates the generation and validation of statistical outputs (tables, figures, listings) — work that is traditionally manual, time-consuming, and error-prone. We combine classical NLP and modern generative approaches to process complex, structured clinical data, reduce review cycles, and ensure full auditability.
What you’ll do Work on NLP problems: document parsing, NER, classification, table generation Build and experiment with both classical ML and LLM-based approaches Design and implement pipelines for tabular data processing Work with large, structured clinical datasets Develop PoCs and help bring solutions to production Evaluate different approaches, benchmark results, and choose what works best Write clean, maintainable, and reproducible code
Tech stack Python PyTorch / TensorFlow NLP: spaCy, transformers, LLMs pandas and tabular data tools Cloud-based tools (depending on the project)
Requirements 2–4 years of experience in Data Science / NLP Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks Experience delivering ML solutions into production Strong Python skills Understanding of both classical NLP and generative approaches (LLMs, structured generation, etc.) Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or similar English — upper-intermediate
Nice to have Experience with LLM-based systems (e.g. text-to-SQL, structured generation) Experience with clinical or other regulated data domains Experience with cloud platforms
