Manual QA (Backend)

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer (Backend). In this role, you will dive deep into backend testing, working with both relational and document-oriented databases, REST API clients, Proxy tools, and analytics. Also you will test marketing logics, ensure seamless data accuracy, and directly influence the quality of a global-scale product. You will be part of a fast, responsive team with minimal bureaucracy, open communication, and the opportunity to grow through working with automation testing tools

In this role, you will Perform manual testing of backend systems using API tools and databases Conduct Smoke, Sanity, and Regression testing of backend functionality Create and maintain test documentation Participate in SCRUM and SDLC processes Conduct A/B testing Work with internal products such as admin panels Investigate bugs and analyze root causes Build reports and communicate testing results Work on improving testing speed and quality Test new product features and ensure requirements coverage

It’s all about you

2+ years of backend testing experience Experience testing mobile and web applications Proficiency with Postman and Swagger Familiarity with Proxy Debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler, etc.) Experience with MongoDB Compass or relational databases (SQL) Quick grasp of new concepts and attention to detail Understanding of SCRUM processes English at Upper-Intermediate level Strong analytical skills and experience testing requirements Experience with A/B testing Proficiency in Jira and Confluence Experience with AppsFlyer testing, Performance testing, and APNS/FCM testing Understanding of QA management principles
