Location: Remote Employment: Service Agreement (Full-time) Reports to: CEO / Head of Payments
From first contact with banks to fully operational payment flows - this is where onboarding meets real payment infrastructure. Within our fintech holding, we are building and scaling a payment ecosystem for high-risk industries. This role is critical: without onboarding, there are no accounts, no acquiring, and no payment flows.
We are looking for an Onboarding Manager who can take full ownership of the bank and EMI onboarding process - from identifying the right partners to launching fully operational payment setups.
Your Mission Own and drive the full onboarding lifecycle for group companies and clients - from selecting the right banking and payment solutions to successfully opening accounts, setting up acquiring, and ensuring payment operations go live. You will act as the key driver between business needs and financial institutions, making sure that every entity gets the accounts and infrastructure required to operate globally.
What You Will Do Onboarding & Account Setup Manage end-to-end onboarding with banks, EMIs, PSPs, and acquiring partners Identify and evaluate payment solutions aligned with client and business needs Open and maintain:Operational accounts Safeguarding / settlement accounts MID / acquiring & payment processing setups
Documentation & Compliance Prepare, structure, and submit full KYC / AML / Due Diligence packages Build complete corporate documentation:UBO / shareholder structures Source of funds explanations Corporate profiles and supporting documents
Draft clear business descriptions and transaction flow narratives for banks Respond to EDD requests and compliance follow-ups High-Risk & Complex Cases Work with high-risk verticals: crypto, iGaming, forex, adult, marketplaces, cross-border PSPs Manage rejections, re-submissions, and escalations with financial institutions Navigate risk reviews and onboarding committees Process Ownership Join onboarding calls with banks and partners Track onboarding pipelines across multiple entities and jurisdictions Ensure timelines are met and onboarding moves forward without bottlenecks
Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: Proven experience in bank / EMI onboarding within fintech, PSP, or payment companies Industry Knowledge: Fintech, PSPs, payment infrastructure, high-risk merchants Background: Hands-on experience working with European banks and EMIs Experience with high-risk verticals is a strong advantage Skills: Strong attention to detail and structured approach Deep understanding of KYC / AML and compliance requirements Confident communication with banks, compliance, and risk teams Ability to manage multiple entities, jurisdictions, and deadlines simultaneously Languages: English (B2+), Russian (preferred) Mindset: Ownership-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-risk environments
