SQL Developer

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with deep, practical expertise in MS SQL Server, with a focus on query optimization, performance tuning, and the design of efficient database schemas. A key part of this role is reviewing, analyzing, and improving existing SQL and schema structures on the OLTP systems.

Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server as a SQL Developer. Demonstrated practical experience in SQL query optimization. Strong skills in analyzing execution plans, deg indexing strategies, and tuning performance. Strong ability to write clean code in accordance with the project's technical requirements. Solid knowledge of OLTP database design principles and best practices. Ability to present real examples of performance improvements or schema redesigns you have implemented.

Core Responsibilities Create database objects/write stored procedures. Analyze and optimize slow SQL queries in MS SQL Server (joins, subqueries, etc.). Work with execution plans, indexes, statistics, and partitioning to enhance performance. Demonstrates the ability to clearly understand and effectively analyze business requirements. Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient SQL and schema use across the platform. Propose structural, architectural, and performance-oriented improvements.
