Junior QA

About the Role We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our growing product team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our cloud-based energy management platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to test new features, identify issues, and contribute to continuous product improvement. Responsibilities Perform manual testing of web-based applications and APIs Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects clearly and accurately Participate in feature reviews and requirement analysis Collaborate with developers to reproduce and verify bug fixes Perform regression, functional, and smoke testing Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)

Requirements Understanding of QA fundamentals: SDLC, STLC, testing types, bug lifecycle Basic knowledge of web application testing Understanding of client-server architecture and REST APIs Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Good written and verbal English communication skills Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Nice to Have Experience testing SaaS or cloud-based products Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environment Experience working with large datasets Understanding of energy, IoT, or data analytics domains
