Product Owner

An international fintech organization in the field of electronic money (EMI), authorized by the regulators FCA (UK), FINTRAC (Canada) and MFSA (Malta), is looking for a Product Owner. The company operates in 140+ countries and offers modern payment solutions (multicurrency IBANs, acquiring, mass payouts) through a single platform. Requirements: -3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a product role. -Experience in FinTech, EMI, PSP, banking or checkout platforms. -Understanding of payments, bank integrations, merchant onboarding, chargeback flow. -Basic understanding of API, request-response logic.

Responsibilities: -Product Discovery & Delivery -Full cycle of initiatives: from idea to release. -Requirements generation, user stories, prioritization (value, effort, risk, compliance). -Preparation of acceptance criteria and maintenance of a clean backlog. -Stakeholder Management -Working with Compliance, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Support. -Requirements collection and coordination, conducting discovery sessions. -Communication of decisions, priorities, timelines. -Technical & SDLC -Daily collaboration with engineers. -Grooming, technical implementation assessment, risk management. -QA support, participation in UAT. -UX & Analysis -UX/UI verification, wireframes, consistency. -User behavior analysis (heatmaps, funnels, recordings). -Transforming insights into product solutions. -Payments & Compliance -Integrations with SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ACH, or acquiring/card processing. -Participation in negotiations with banks, PSPs, and vendors. -Understanding of regulations (PSD2, AML/KYC, reporting — nice to have).
