Team Lead HTML/Markup Developer for Toronto

We are looking for an experienced and organized Development Team Lead to manage our implementation team in Toronto. You will coordinate and support front-end developers responsible for UI implementation across multiple web projects. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring technical know-how and team management experience. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of front-end developers, ensuring timely delivery of assigned projects Plan and assign tasks, manage team capacity and workflows Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure quality control Collaborate with design, product, and back-end teams to align implementation goals Mentor junior developers and facilitate continuous improvement Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements Requirements: 5+ years in front-end or web development, and 1+ year in a lead/management role Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, pre-processors (SASS/SCSS), and basic JS Experience in managing implementation/templating teams Strong project ownership, time management, and people skills Fluent communication in English and experience working in cross-functional teams Nice to Have: Familiarity with Agile or Kanban workflows Experience with Jira/Confluence, Bitbucket/Git Background in iGaming or regulated platforms
