Hardware / Embedded QA Engineer

NIK-ELEKTRONIKA LLC is one of the largest companies in Eastern Europe specializing in the development and production of measuring instruments and energy management systems. Today, the company combines high-tech automated production facilities with calibration equipment, its own design bureau, and a service center. We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join our professional R&D team.

Key Responsibilities: Create test cases and bug reports, participate in sprints; Actively take part in all phases of software testing: planning, identifying potentially problematic areas, executing various types of testing, detecting and tracking defects, maintaining test documentation; Collaborate with developers and business analysts.

Our Expectations: Higher technical education; Knowledge of basic testing principles; Basic understanding of electronics and electrical engineering; Previous experience in a similar role is a plus; Experience in working with microcontrollers is welcome; Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, test protocols, etc.) is a plus; Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC); Experience with Python for writing automated tests is a plus; Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc., is also welcomed.

Primary Tasks: Learn to work with all the equipment used in testing; Understand the functional specifics and circuitry of the devices under test; Perform full-scale testing of devices based on existing test cases.
