Location: Columbus, OH Salary: $69.00 USD Hourly - $74.00 USD Hourly Description: Software Engineer (Multiple Levels: SE2, SE3, SE4, P5) - Contract Locations: Columbus, OH or Plano, TX (Flexible within these hubs) Contract Duration: 24 months Work Authorization: All visa types accepted (must be listed in submittal) Positions Available: Java: 16 roles (SE3/SE4 mix) .NET: 7 roles (SE3/SE4 mix) Java SE2: 1 role (React experience preferred) Java P5: 1 senior-level role About the Role In this contingent Software Engineering role, you will contribute to high-impact, enterprise-scale initiatives, partnering with technical leaders to design and implement solutions across a broad suite of applications. You will evaluate complex engineering challenges, analyze multi-layered technical environments, and deliver scalable, high-quality software within a large enterprise ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess strategic technical needs, and guide decision-making across multiple systems, architectures, and long-term platform considerations. What You'll Do Consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives impacting multiple teams and platforms. Analyze multi-faceted engineering problems requiring deep evaluation of technical, architectural, and operational factors-including ambiguous or unprecedented challenges. Contribute to resolving complex technical scenarios while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, security, and organizational policies. Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, align on technical strategy, and ensure timely delivery. Participate in the consolidation of 78+ existing applications , helping design and build a new internally-developed access request storefront for enterprise use. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Software Engineering experience , demonstrated through one or more of the following: Industry or consulting experience Technical training Military background Formal education Hands-on development experience in one or more of the following stacks: Java / React .NET / C# / SQL Preferred Qualifications Experience in large, complex enterprise environments (highly preferred). Financial Services industry background. Cloud experience (preferred but not required; enterprise scale is more important). Not a Fit If Your background is primarily government sector experience. Your experience is centered around IAM tools (SailPoint, OIM, etc.) - this is a pure software engineering role focused on building applications, not access management tooling. Additional Context The engineering team is consolidating dozens of legacy applications and creating a new, centralized storefront to support enterprise access requests and workflow management. This is a large modern-build initiative-no vendor storefronts, fully custom internal development.
