We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to work on a team at our client site in Newport Beach, CA. You will perform as an ERP/Finance Transformation expert, working with large-scale financial transformation projects. This is a W2 hourly role with Roth Staffing, and no 3rd party candidates can be considered. About the role Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes complex, enterprise scale programs to achieve defined business outcomes within agreed timelines and success criteria. Leverages a broad program management toolkit to lead delivery with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, multi-vendor model, and cross functional teams-many of whom may not be direct reports-to ensure intended business value is realized. Recognized as a senior ERP and Finance Transformation authority, this role sets execution standards for enterprise scale transformation initiatives and serves as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors. The role shapes program strategy, delivery models, and governance approaches beyond a single initiative. This position requires deep experience leading complex ERP and Finance transformation programs, ideally with Oracle Financials or Cloud ERP, bringing strong domain expertise, delivery rigor, and the ability to manage tightly integrated, cross dependent solutions. Through executive influence, the role ensures disciplined execution across critical delivery phases, including post go live stabilization. This role is designed to operate in close partnership with an existing Senior Program Manager, jointly providing senior-level execution leadership, risk management, and decision enforcement for a complex, enterprise-scale transformation program. This job requires employees to have-or rapidly develop-strong knowledge of the functional business domain to help shape solutions through programs and projects and to flex across both delivery and partner models. Work is focused on, but not limited to, deploying new and/or enhancing existing products, processes, and systems. Participates in and contributes to continuous improvement and maturation of the program and project management practice. (This position may report to IT or to a business area.) Complexity of Assignments Recognized as an ERP & Transformation expert within the organization, both within and beyond own function Experience in, Oracle Cloud Accounting Foundation, GL, Data Management, Cloud Analytics & Enterprise Performance Management or other ERP vendor equivalents. Experienced multi solutions and partner delivery deployments Interprets internal and external business issues and recommends program, process, product, or service improvements Shapes and influences the development of functional and enterprise strategy, particularly in the context of large transformation initiatives Solves unique and complex problems that have broad business impact Takes a broad, enterprise wide perspective to identify innovative and pragmatic solutions Judgment & Supervision Acts as a subject matter authority for ERP and Finance transformation delivery, advising leadership beyond the immediate program as needed. May lead large, cross functional programs and functional teams. Exercises significant judgment in balancing risk, scope, timeline, and business outcomes How you'll help move us forward Lead complex ERP and Finance Transformation programs, with accountability for end to end delivery, business outcomes, and executive visibility Develops and institutionalizes new or improved approaches to ERP program governance, testing, readiness, and risk management that can be reused across future enterprise initiatives. Serve as an accountable program leadership point across internal teams and multiple vendors / System Integrators, ensuring continuity, alignment and end-to-end execution ownership even as vendor teams or resources change Provide active execution leadership and enforcement across program standards, cadence, dependencies, and readiness decisions, exercising escalation authority to proactively surface and resolve cross-workstream risks, decision latency, and readiness gaps Communicate clearly and effectively with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders, surfacing risks, tradeoffs, and decisions in a timely manner Providing ERP oversight and managing interdependencies across various teams. Work closely with Finance, Technology, Data, Operations, Training, and Change teams to deliver projects smoothly and ensure readiness. Oversee end-to-end testing and assurance activities to align with overall program outcomes. Collaborate with change management and training teams, including those using vendor-led delivery models, to support successful adoption and sustained results. Develop integrated strategies for testing, assurance, risk management, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams. Maintain a proactive risk perspective to avoid last-minute discovery providing Business & Technology Readiness oversight and identification of readiness gaps, unaddressed dependencies, and consolidated risks during SIT, UAT, cutover, and operational readiness periods. Ensure continuity of execution leadership into post-go-live stabilization, Day 2 backlog delivery, and remaining migrations, without jeopardizing go-live outcomes. Typical Qualifications 15+ years of experience in Transformation and project management, including large scale enterprise initiatives Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP) preferred or Software Vendor implementation Methodologies/Certifications The experience you bring Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementations, preferably Oracle Financials & SaaS-based ERP, with a strong focus on Finance domains Proven delivery leadership on parallel build, UAT execution, close simulations, cutover, and operational readiness Experience supporting or leading Finance Transformation initiatives Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-vendor and System Integrator (SI) delivery models, including governance, performance management, and escalation Strong track record of driving clear ownership and accountability across complex, cross-functional and multi-vendor delivery environments Expertise in testing strategy leadership, risk management, and complex issue resolution Hands on experience with data migration and data governance in large transformation programs Exceptional cross functional coordination skills across business and technology teams in complex, high-visibility transformation programs Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, communicate, and drive alignment at senior leadership levels What makes you stand out Experience leading enterprise Finance or ERP programs in regulated or complex environments Deep familiarity with ERP Financials & SaaS Solutions Ideally bring Knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle Cloud Accounting Foundation, GL, Data Management, Cloud Analytics & Enterprise Performance Management Ability to balance delivery rigor with pragmatism in highly visible, fast moving transformation efforts Track record of successfully navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and senior stakeholder dynamics All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
