Location: Rancho Mirage, CA - 92270 (Onsite) Duration: 13 weeks after start Shift: Day Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Setting: Home Health & Hospice patient home visits required Travel: Local travel required; mileage reimbursed per client policy Training: Equipment provided during orientation/training Position Summary: The Certified Home Health/Hospice Aide (CHHA) works under the supervision of an RN or therapist, providing personal care services to support patient comfort and independence. The CHHA documents patient observations, reports changes promptly, and supports continuity and safety in patient care. This role does not include any duties considered nursing practice per state Nurse Practice Act (e.g., administering medication, taking orders, sterile procedures). Required Certifications & Licensure Active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in California in good standing Current BLS Registered on the Home Care Aide Registry (CA DSS Home Care Services Bureau) Valid driver s license + insured, reliable vehicle
