DevSecOps software developer

Location: Grand Prairie, TX Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $82.00 USD Hourly Description: About the Role This role focuses on deg and implementing CI/CD pipelines within a secure environment while applying DevSecOps best practices. The position requires hands-on experience with container management, automation, and secure software development workflows. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines for engineering programs. Apply DevSecOps methodologies to automate and optimize software delivery. Integrate CI/CD workflows with existing development environments. Ensure end-to-end compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline development and deployment workflows. Leverage container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of relevant software development or DevSecOps experience. Hands-on experience with DevSecOps methodologies and tools. Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI. Experience with container management tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience in C/C++ multithreaded development for embedded systems. Proficiency with C# programming. Experience with Linux-based development and scripting. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Working knowledge of Python, YAML, and JSON. Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible). Familiarity with Nexus artifact repository. Experience with Windows environments and web app development using JavaScript/TypeScript.
