Job Title: Sr. HCM PeopleSoft Technical Developer Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid: 4days onsite every week) Duration: 6-12month contract Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced HCM PeopleSoft Developer with deep expertise in Data Conversion, Integrations, SQR, and Application Engine development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex technical environments, enjoys solving data challenges, and can design scalable, maintainable solutions across the PeopleSoft ecosystem. This role will provide support to the most complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute end-to-end data conversion activities, including mapping, transformation, validation, and migration across multiple PeopleSoft HCM modules. Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft integrations using Integration Broker, REST/SOAP web services, file-based integrations, and third party system connections. Build, optimize, and troubleshoot SQR programs for reporting, data processing, and batch operations. Develop and enhance Application Engine (AE) programs, including SQL, People Code, and workflow logic. Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions. Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Support production environments by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing long term fixes. Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation practices, and change management processes. Participate in upgrade, enhancement, and modernization initiatives across the PeopleSoft platform. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience across HCM. Proven expertise in HCM Modules such as: Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Compensation, Benefits Management, Talent Management, Absence Management, e o Data Conversion (large datasets, ETL logic, migration strategies) o Integrations (Integration Broker, APIs, web services, file transfers) o SQR development and optimization o Application Engine design and troubleshooting Strong SQL skills (SQL Server preferred) with the ability to write complex queries and performance tune code. Experience with PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, and Application Packages. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast paced environments.
