Job Details Job Title: Software Developer Kofax & Laserfiche (.NET / VB6) Duration: 18-24 Months Location: Oakland County, MI Job Overview: An experienced Software Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Kofax scanning solutions, Laserfiche Document Management System (DMS), and Microsoft-based application development. This role is responsible for deg, developing, enhancing, and supporting secure and scalable applications that integrate document management, scanning, and workflow automation platforms. The developer will work within a Microsoft technology stack, leveraging.NET, VB6, SQL Server, Visual Studio, SSMS, and Azure DevOps, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional technical and business teams. The position also provides production support, troubleshoots issues with end users and internal stakeholders, and contributes to system enhancements, integrations, and documentation to support enterprise document and workflow solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET and VB6 within a Microsoft-based environment. Develop and support Kofax scanning solutions , including automated scanning and workflow processes. Configure, customize, and enhance Laserfiche DMS solutions and integrations. Build and maintain integrations between document management systems , scanning platforms, and backend applications. Implement and automate document capture, processing, and workflow solutions. Provide production support , troubleshooting application and system issues for end users and internal customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Microsoft Teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Utilize Visual Studio, SSMS, and Azure DevOps for development, deployment, version control, and CI/CD processes. Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data integrations. Produce and maintain technical documentation, including program specifications, data models, and architecture diagrams . Ensure applications are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
