Urgent Need -- - Preferred Locals Job Title: Application Architect Location: Lansing, Michigan Interview: Video/In-Person Duration: Long Term Job Description: Develop enterprise applications using Java/JEE, Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Hibernate, and SOAP/RESTful Web Services; build web interfaces with ReactJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, HTML, XML. Provide technical leadership, prepare software design documents, technical specifications, prototypes, mock-ups, flowcharts, and screen layouts, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture aligns with business requirements while supporting full SDLC in Agile environments. Design and manage databases using Oracle and PostgreSQL, including logical/physical data modeling, SQL/PLSQL scripting, query tuning, troubleshooting, and data migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL. Integrate and deploy applications using Git, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, OpenShift containers, Databricks, and build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps. Work with AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, VPC, Lambda, MSK, ROSA/OpenShift, EKS, ECS Fargate), apply cost optimization strategies, and utilize Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, ActiveMQ, Elastic agents, and Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, Persistent Volumes).
