Job Details Worldwide Technology is looking for a Software Developer (Backend) Automation (IAM) . This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. Title: Software Developer (Backend) Automation (IAM) Location: Plano, TX (5 days Onsite) Duration/Type of Job: 18+ months Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $60 to $80 hourly (Rate range is on C2C basis). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay. focused on expanding and enhancing internal automation capabilities across Identity & Access Management (IAM) and NRD-related platforms. We are seeking Software Developers to build and maintain backend automation and internal tooling used by internal teams across the organization. This role focuses on backend development and automation. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services and automation tools supporting IAM and NRD platforms Build integrations that extract, transform, and load data from tenant-based systems into internal tools Support automation related to roles, permissions, and provisioning workflows Contribute code within established CI/CD pipelines and development standards Work with containerized environments and deployment platforms Collaborate with engineers and developers to deliver required automation and tooling Create and maintain basic documentation to support ongoing development and operations Required Qualifications & Skills Strong hands-on development experience in Python and/or Java Experience developing backend services, automation scripts, or internal tools Working knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes or similar platforms Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or equivalent tooling) Ability to operate effectively within large, complex enterprise environments Preferred Qualifications & Skills Basic understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts Experience transitioning from infrastructure-focused roles into development or automation Exposure to internal system integrations or platform services Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Differently Abled If you have any questions or concerns about this posting, please email SRpostings at wwt dot com.
