Job Details Position: Senior Software Engineer Location: Houston, TX - Hybrid Duration: 12 Months Office attendance: 2 days per week Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Petrel Developer with less than 5 years of experience to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize solutions on the Petrel platform to support subsurface workflows and data management. Ocean Framework SDK experience for Plugin development Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Integrate Petrel with other tools and platforms to streamline workflows and optimize processes. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within Petrel applications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and standards. Conduct testing and validation of solutions to ensure quality and functionality. Document development processes, workflows, and solutions for future reference. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Petrel and related technologies. Required Skills: Strong programming skills in C#,.NET, or other relevant languages. Familiarity with Petrel SDK and its application in subsurface workflows. Basic understanding of geoscience and reservoir engineering concepts. Experience in integrating Petrel with other tools/platforms. Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot efficiently. Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Oil & Gas domain workflows (FDP, WRFM, Seismic Imaging). Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
