Technical Writer

Essential requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer (5+ years preferred), preferably in a technical or engineering environment.

• Strong writing and editing skills in American English with a focus on clarity and precision. Knowledge of writing in simplified technical English is an advantage.

• Experience working in Agile environments can effectively contribute to documentation in iterative development cycles.

• Experience in SolidWorks Composer (or similar) for creating illustrations.

• Experience in Adobe Illustrator.

• Experience working with Component Content Management System (CCMS) tools. CCMS tools Quanos Schema ST4 and Skribenta.

• Certifications in technical writing, such as the Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC).
