Transaction Services Trainee

We are looking for motivated students who are finalising their studies or recent graduates to join our Transaction Services team as a Trainee in Helsinki. The full-time Trainee position begins in beginning of August 2026 and lasts around 5 months. Many Trainees continue with us into permanent roles after their Trainee period. Our Transaction Services team is a core part of Deloitte’s broader M&A offering , providing buy and sell-side advisory services related to corporate acquisitions and divestitures with a focus on financial due diligence. This involves analysing the target company’s financial results, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows. As a Trainee, you will assist our professionals with due diligence and client engagements, deepening your expertise in financial analysis, client deliverables, and M&A processes. You will be an integral part of the team, gaining a unique foundation for your career in M&A. Qualifications: What do we hope from you? If you are excited by the job description, result-oriented, diligent, and eager to build your career in mergers and acquisitions, you might be the Transaction Services Trainee we are looking for! We also hope that you have: An excellent academic record preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field Strong analytical skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Solid skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and interest towards learning and applying analytical tools (e.g. KNIME, PowerBI) in your work Fluency in English; proficiency in Finnish is considered an asset Preferred candidates have completed their bachelor’s degree and are either finalising their master’s degree studies or have recently graduated. To be considered for this Trainee position, a prerequisite is that you are currently allowed to work in Finland, holding a valid residence permit if required.
