GE-Certified Wind Turbine Technician

We are seeking motivated Installation Technicians to support the installation and commissioning of onshore wind turbines. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine installation, particularly with Vestas or Enercon platforms. You will work as part of a site team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality turbine assembly and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the mechanical and electrical installation of onshore wind turbines
• Support tower, nacelle, and blade installation activities
• Perform basic commissioning tasks under supervision
• Follow technical drawings, manuals, and method statements
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with HSE standards and site procedures
• Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Identify and report faults, defects, or installation issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and installation records
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other technicians

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in wind turbine installation or a similar field role
• Experience working with Vestas or Enercon turbines (preferred)
• Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
• Comfortable working at height and in outdoor environments
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required
