Operations & Safety Inspector

Are you a seasoned operations and safety professional with deep expertise in industrial systems? Our client, a high-technology industrial solutions company, is seeking an Operations & Safety Manager to lead North American site operations, ensure safety and performance excellence, and develop operators across a growing fleet of compressed air systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operation of all industrial systems to meet or exceed performance and contract guarantees.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize on-site facility processes.
• Implement and maintain asset management programs, including preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.
• Execute environmental, safety, and quality compliance programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, coordinating plant production and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and manufacturers to ensure system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of operations management experience in industrial or compressed air systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial systems: large centrifugal and screw compressors, air dryers, instrumentation, and PLC/DCS controls.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical electrical knowledge for system operation and repair.
• Experienced with maintenance programs, asset management, scheduling, and parts procurement.
• Proficient with MS Office and document management systems; automation software/HMI experience a plus.
• Valid U.S. passport; ability to travel frequently.

• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce reports, manuals, and present information.
• Analytical skills for problem-solving, process evaluation, and performance calculations.
• Able to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and regulatory guidance.
