Electronics Engineer

Darwin Space is currently hiring for an Electronics Engineer in Luxembourg.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and analyze Systems requirements and propose compliant architectures

• Design and implement schematics with detailed analog and digital circuits

• Perform design analysis such as Worst-Case Analysis, Derating Analysis, and FMEA/FMECA.

• Review PCB/layout design provided by the team.

• Perform initial testing and debugging of the CBA, and then complete the functional test.

• Provide technical and official documentation: analysis, test plans, test results

• Support S/W and F/W teams to provide a complete system that meets requirements and project deadlines

• Support test competency in establishing automated testing

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of the Electronic Design Automation (EDA)/Computer Assisted Design (CAD) tool (Altium, Cadence …)

• Familiarity with database management

• Experience with other EDA tools and eventually script development

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong interest in developing hardware electronics schematics, small signals, high-speed memories, micro-controllers/FPGA, and low-power DC/DC conversion.

• Knowledge in PCB layout and general laboratory test equipment

• Scripting ability to automate tests and report tasks

• Competences in planning and risk management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Fluent in English

• French or German are strong asset

• Master’s degree in electronics engineering or equivalent

• Over 5 years of relevant experience

• not necessarily in space. Automotive or medical experience would be appreciated.
